Portfolio Tooling & AI Enablement Analyst (Lending PMO)
Location: Pensacola, FL or Vienna, VA
Pay Rate: $60-$70/hour

Position Overview
The Portfolio Tooling & AI Enablement Analyst will drive the optimization of portfolio management processes within the Lending PMO by integrating tools, streamlining workflows, enhancing reporting capabilities, and introducing practical AI-driven solutions.
This role is responsible for connecting portfolio management tools, improving visibility from intake through delivery, reducing manual effort, and enabling data-driven decision-making across Product, PMO, and Technology teams. Success will be measured through improved workflow efficiency, stronger governance, enhanced reporting, increased tool adoption, and effective use of AI and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Tooling & Integration
Design and maintain integrations between ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Power BI, and related platforms.
Enable end-to-end visibility across intake, prioritization, execution, and delivery processes.
Eliminate redundant activities and reduce manual data entry through automation.
Create and maintain a consolidated view of portfolio performance, delivery status, and work progress.
Portfolio Governance & Ways of Working
Align tooling and workflows with portfolio governance, prioritization, and delivery frameworks.
Improve visibility into dependencies, risks, capacity, and portfolio health.
Establish and reinforce consistent Agile delivery practices through standardized tool usage.
Support portfolio planning, sequencing, and execution tracking through scalable processes and reporting.
AI, Automation & Process Optimization
Identify and implement practical AI-enabled solutions that improve portfolio operations.
Develop AI-assisted capabilities such as intake copilots, reporting assistants, planning support tools, and decision-support dashboards.
Automate workflows using low-code/no-code platforms and enterprise automation tools.
Leverage AI-driven insights to enhance forecasting, reporting, prioritization, and resource planning.
Reporting & Analytics
Develop executive-level dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar platforms.
Establish meaningful KPIs and portfolio metrics to support leadership decision-making.
Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and transparency across programs and initiatives.
Change Management & Adoption
Drive adoption of portfolio tools, processes, and AI capabilities across teams.
Create training materials, templates, job aids, and best practices documentation.
Facilitate workshops and coaching sessions to improve user engagement and tool proficiency.
Promote self-service reporting and consistent utilization of portfolio management tools.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner closely with Product, PMO, Technology, and business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver practical solutions.
Translate business requirements into scalable tooling, reporting, and automation capabilities.
Gather feedback and continuously improve processes, workflows, and user experience.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in portfolio management, PMO operations, business process improvement, or related disciplines.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Power BI, or comparable enterprise platforms.
Experience designing and improving workflows from intake through delivery.
Experience implementing automation, workflow optimization, or AI-enabled solutions.
Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated success working in cross-functional Agile environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Agile, Lean, or Portfolio Management certifications such as SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management (LPM), PMP, or equivalent.
Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, AI Builder) or similar low-code/no-code platforms.
Knowledge of Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, ServiceNow AI capabilities, or related AI technologies.
Experience building AI copilots, intelligent agents, chatbots, or workflow automation solutions.
Experience with executive reporting, portfolio analytics, and dashboard development.
Background in organizational change management, training, or capability development.
Preferred Industry Experience
Financial Services, Lending, Banking, Mortgage, or highly regulated environments.
Enterprise PMO, Portfolio Management, or Digital Transformation initiatives.
