Portfolio Success Manager

The Portfolio Success Manager will be responsible for analyzing portfolio performance, developing client-facing reports, monitoring key business metrics, and partnering with leadership to drive operational improvements and client retention. Portfolio Success Manager Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.

Clayton Services is searching for a Portfolio Success Manager to join a growing financial services organization in Central Houston. The Portfolio Success Manager will be responsible for analyzing portfolio performance, developing client-facing reports, monitoring key business metrics, and partnering with leadership to drive operational improvements and client retention.

Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $70,000 - $85,000 + Bonus Potential

Portfolio Success Manager Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance metrics, recovery trends, and account activity
• Develop, maintain, and present performance reports, dashboards, and analytics for leadership and clients
• Conduct portfolio reviews and provide strategic recommendations to improve results
• Serve as a primary point of contact for client performance discussions and reporting needs
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and operational reporting
• Collaborate with operations, legal, and leadership teams to improve portfolio performance
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs), service level metrics, and portfolio health
• Create and maintain customized reports within CRM and reporting systems
• Assist with onboarding new clients through reporting setup and performance benchmarking
• Support process improvement initiatives and data accuracy efforts

Portfolio Success Manager Skills and Abilities:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and reporting
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with a data-driven mindset
• Experience developing dashboards, performance reports, and KPI tracking tools
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
• Strong client relationship management and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively across operations, legal, and leadership teams
• Experience utilizing CRM systems and reporting platforms
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results

Portfolio Success Manager Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in collections, commercial collections, financial services, lending, portfolio management, or a related industry
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership, management, client success, operational analytics, or performance management role
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics required
• Salesforce experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools preferred
• Commercial collections, merchant cash advance (MCA), commercial lending, or specialty finance experience preferred
