Portfolio Manager

Job Overview: This position will support lenders with the day-to-day monitoring of commercial credits along with helping process and onboard new clients.  The ideal candidate would be someone that wants to eventually be a Business 360/Commercial lender with an expertise in SBA lending. 

The candidate for this position will be responsible for:

• Serving as a point of contact and trusted advisor for customers and co-workers while developing and maintaining long term business relationships with clients.
• Analyzing client needs and making recommendations while serving as an intermediary between clients, loan officers, and underwriting staff.
• Attending client meetings, preparing loan approval/renewal documents, analyzing financial data, managing contact notes, mantling the integrity of the collateral/lending relationship, and processing credit requests.
• Being the SBA point of contact as well as packaging SBA opportunities.

Requirements for the position include:

• A minimum of two years of commercial, credit banking, underwriting or portfolio management and structuring experience.
• Strong communication, administrative, conceptual and underwriting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work flexible and/or late hours as well as frequent overnight, road and/or air travel.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

• Previous Lending, Underwriting, or Lending Assistant experience
