    Portfolio Manager

    We're looking for a relationship-driven, organized professional to manage a portfolio of approximately 250–300 single-family rental homes. In this role, you'll work closely with property owners, residents, and internal teams to protect property value, maximize owner returns, and deliver an outstanding customer experience.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage a portfolio of single-family rental properties from both an owner and resident perspective.
    • Build strong relationships with property owners through proactive communication and trusted guidance.
    • Monitor portfolio performance, including occupancy, maintenance costs, rent collections, lease renewals, and resident retention.
    • Review owner financial statements and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Identify opportunities to improve property performance and owner returns.
    • Coordinate with leasing, maintenance, and field teams to ensure efficient operations.
    • Resolve resident concerns and help minimize turnover.
    • Lead and support a remote team member assigned to your portfolio.


    What Success Looks Like

    • Accurate financial reporting and owner statements.
    • Strong owner communication with minimal complaints.
    • Proactive problem-solving and strategic portfolio management.
    • High occupancy, controlled maintenance costs, and minimal overdue tasks.
    • Effective leadership of your remote support team.


    Qualifications

    • College degree or relevant real estate/property management experience.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities with a confident, customer-focused approach.
    • Willingness to remain responsive when business needs require it.
