Portfolio Manager

• Support the execution of Portfolio Management priorities through analysis, tracking, coordination, and follow-through, including: ·
• Maintain portfolio management tools, trackers, and workplans that support the Director's portfolio priorities and business planning process. ·
• Analyze store, franchisee, and market-level data to surface risks, opportunities, trends, and follow-up items for Director review. ·
• Prepare materials, background information, and follow-up documentation to support franchisee, transfer, renewal, closure, remodel, relocation, and growth-related discussions.
• Build effective working relationships with franchisees and internal partners to help gather information, coordinate next steps, and maintain progress against portfolio priorities.
• Gather inputs from Brand, Category, Operations, Real Estate, Franchise Sales, Franchise Administration, Legal, and Design and Construction teams to support portfolio reviews and action planning
• Curate accurate prospect, franchisee, transfer, renewal, closure, remodel, relocation, and portfolio tracking data, including status, next steps, timing, and key decision points.
• Coordinate with Operations and Real Estate to collect information on franchisee growth capacity, relocation needs, site constraints, and potential portfolio optimization opportunities.
• Support transfer, renewal, closure, remodel, and relocation processes by coordinating required information, approvals, documentation, and follow-up with cross-functional partners.
• Track upcoming renewals, expirations, remodel requirements, closure risks, and transfer activity to help ensure timely visibility and follow-up.
• Prepare and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, summaries, and meeting materials that support Development and Brand portfolio discussions.
• Document decisions, open items, risks, and assigned follow-ups to help ensure portfolio actions continue moving forward.
• Role will have regular working relationships with category and brand teams, consumer insights, real estate, franchise sales, franchise administration, operations, legal, and the design and construction teams.

The Manager will support the Portfolio Management function for the Development Organization. This role will assist the Director, Portfolio Management in executing portfolio strategies that align with the overall goals and strategies of both GO TO FOODS and the Development Organization. They will also coordinate with Brand Operations and cross-functional partners to support Brand growth strategies, portfolio optimization, renewals, transfers, remodels, relocations, and closure planning.

Bachelor's Degree, Pref

• 3+ years experience working closely with franchisees in the food & beverage industry, in a development, portfolio management, finance, real estate, or operational capacity.
• 1+ years experience in a platform / portfolio company, working with multiple brands, preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to surface risks, opportunities, trends, and follow-up items from portfolio data
• Restaurant financial aptitude, including the ability to understand store-level sales, profitability, occupancy, and other key business performance indicators
• General proficiency with Excel and related business tools used to organize data, maintain trackers, and prepare basic portfolio reporting
• Familiarity with data, reporting, mapping, site analytics, or market planning tools used to evaluate portfolio performance, trade areas, and growth or optimization opportunities
• Ability to connect store-level, franchisee-level, and market-level details to broader portfolio priorities · Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate trackers, workplans, reports, and follow-up items
• Clear communicator with strong documentation, meeting preparation, and follow-through skills
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with franchisees and cross-functional partners across Brand, Operations, Real Estate, Franchise Sales, Franchise Administration, Legal, and Design and Construction teams
• Highly collaborative and able to gather inputs, coordinate next steps, and keep work moving across multiple internal stakeholders
• Demonstrated fortitude and professionalism to navigate challenging conversations with franchisees and business partners while maintaining trust and forward progress
• Flexible and comfortable supporting multiple brands, workstreams, and shifting portfolio priorities
