Job Description:
This job is responsible for leading a team to maximize the value delivered through multiple programs and/or value streams within a small, less complex delivery portfolio. Key responsibilities include managing and developing the team through coaching, mentoring and feedback, aligning strategy, and execution by applying Lean and systems thinking approaches to strategy, investment funding, portfolio operations, and governance. Job expectations include managing the portfolio, ensuring compliance to standards, and driving continuous improvement to operations and governance.
Position Summary:
Global Operations Emerging Technology (GOET) is the horizontal AI, data, and automation delivery team for Global Operations. The Portfolio Delivery Manager leads GOET's horizontal delivery programs, starting with scaling AI agent delivery across Global Operations, and turns demand into sequenced, funded, and governed work. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You will triage and shape use cases, decide when AI is the right answer and when a simpler deterministic solution fits better, evaluate enterprise agent-building platforms, and partner with engineers to build prototypes and demos to prove out approaches. You will also run the portfolio's operating rhythm: intake, prioritization, governance, delivery metrics, executive reporting, and multi-year funding plans. The role works across business, technology, risk, compliance, and peer engineering teams, keeping work aligned to Responsible AI expectations and enterprise standards. Leadership is through a matrixed delivery team at first, with the opportunity to grow into direct people leadership. Success looks like faster, predictable delivery of AI solutions that people reuse, plus clear priorities and very few surprises.
