Job Description:
Title: Portfolio Accounting Analyst
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Pay: $28 - $33 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 7 am - 4 pm or 8 am - 5 pm, M-F

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain asset profiles in the trust accounting and reporting system
- Reconcile financial data across multiple databases and reporting platforms
- Manage daily cash receipting, wire transfers, and investment transactions
- Journalize and reconcile daily cash and investment activity
- Coordinate with the Operations Group on bond and loan settlements
- Review and reconcile overdrawn accounts
- Respond promptly to bondholder and client inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 2+ years of experience in the Mortgage/Accounting/Financial Field
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
