Job Details:

Location: The Galleria Houston

Available Shifts: (Days vary)

Monday - Friday 6:30am - 2:00pm with Sunday 10:00am - 6:00pm.

Monday - Friday 11:00am - 8:00pm with Sunday 10:00am - 6:00pm.

Starting Pay Rate: $14.00 / hour (Based on experience)

Porter (Upscale/Fine Dining) Responsibilities:  

• Assist with event setups, room arrangements, and the preparation of designated areas for meetings, functions, and special occasions.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the residential facility, including common areas, lobbies, dining room and designated service areas.
• Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Collect, transport, and dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor common areas for cleanliness, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and items requiring immediate attention.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Wash dishes as needed.

Education Requirements: 

• High school education or GED required.

Job Requirements: 

• 2+ current years of porter experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
