BASIC FUNCTIONResponsible for performing general building maintenance and cleaning both interior and exterior as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.Operate Floor Scrubber for production and warehouse floors as required.Clean and polish all furniture and fixtures.Regular cleaning and maintenance of exterior building perimeter.Clean, wash or paint building walls as required.Remove rubbish from all trash containers throughout building including office receptacles.Maintain and sanitize all building bathroom/rest areas.Supply and Service Quality Control areaDaily checks of all office and bathroom lightingAssist Building Maintenance Technicians as requested with preventive and corrective maintenance issues.Daily check for operational plumbingPerform other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Must have basic English oral, written and communication skills.Skilled in preventive maintenance measures and trouble shooting.Organized and efficient in time management skills.Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.Capable of following all required SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and safety programs.

While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand, stoop, bend walk (for several hours of the workday) and use hands to handle objects, tools and controls, reach with hands and arms; talk and hear .Employee will be required to handle cleaning chemicals and solvents as required during course of job execution. Employee may be required to move or lift objects ranging from 25 to 35 pounds.Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
EDUCATION / TRAINING
High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum of 2-5 years of general building maintenance. A combination of vocational training, education and experience that is equivalent to the employment standards listed above and provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
