The role of porter involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the clubhouse, on-course restrooms, pavilion, central maintenance building and common areas to ensure a high-quality experience for guests and members.
Schedule: 24-40/week
Compensation: $18-19/hour
Expected Start Date: March 16, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, taking trash out and vacuuming floors in the clubhouse, pro-shop, and dining areas, pavilion and central maintenance building.
Restroom Upkeep: Sanitizing sinks, toilets, and mirrors; restocking essential supplies like paper towels and soap in both the clubhouse and scattered on-course washrooms.
Waste Management: Emptying trash and recycling bins throughout the facility, including the parking lot, cart barn, and driving range.
Exterior Maintenance: Keeping walkways, decks, and entrances clear of debris such as leaves or grass clippings. This may include pressure washing and maintaining outdoor furniture.
Light Repairs: Performing basic maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging toilets, or addressing minor structural issues.
Job Requirements & Skills Experience:
- Valid driver’s license may be required for operating cleaning equipment or utility carts.
- Physical Stamina:
- The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift between 25 to 50 lbs regularly.
- Adaptability:
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments across varying weather conditions.
- Schedule Flexibility:
- Shifts often include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate peak golf hours and special events.
- Attention to Detail:
- Critical for maintaining the "pristine" aesthetic desired look.
- Experience:
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
