Berger Communities is hiring a Porter for 202 Queen Apartments in Lancaster, PA! We’re looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented to help keep our community clean, attractive, and welcoming.

Location: Lancaster, PA
Type: Full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM.
What You'll Do
As a Porter, you'll play an important role in keeping the community clean and looking its best:
- Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairways, leasing offices, laundry rooms, and other shared spaces
- Keep building entrances, sidewalks, parking areas, and grounds clean and free of debris
- Sweep, scrub, mop, and pressure wash community walkways and common areas
- Collect and properly dispose of trash and recycling throughout the property
- Clean windows, doors, walls, and other interior and exterior surfaces
- Assist with apartment turnover cleaning and move-in preparation as needed
- Replace light bulbs and assist with other light maintenance tasks
- Participate in seasonal property upkeep, including snow removal and salting walkways
- Use cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely
- Report property damage, safety concerns, or maintenance issues to the Service Manager
- Assist the maintenance team with property upkeep and other tasks as needed
