Role Name: Port.io Developer

Location: Irving

Duration: 12+ Months

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Port.io-based developer portal solutions

Build and manage service catalogs, blueprints, scorecards, and workflows

Build integrations with enterprise tools (CI/CD, SCM, Project Management, Cloud, IaC, Observability systems)

Develop scalable automation using Port.io APIs, webhooks, and templates

Partner with Platform Engineering, DevOps, and Developer teams to define best practices

Drive developer portal adoption and governance standards

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance

Continuously improve developer workflows, onboarding, and productivity metrics

Define and track KPIs for developer experience and platform effectiveness

Mandatory Requirements

Technical Skills

7 to 8 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or backend engineering

Hands-on experience with Port.io or similar developer portal platforms

Deep experience integrating with:

CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Experience designing and managing service catalogs and data models
