Job Summary
The Pool Supervisor provides supervision and support to staff and patrons in the facility, with an emphasis on maintaining and enforcing rules and regulations to ensure a safe aquatic environment. Acts as facility supervisor in the absence of the Aquatic Program Director.
Reports To: Aquatics Director
Essential Job Functions:
- Follow all essential job functions for both lifeguard and instructor job descriptions
- Serve as a mentor for lifeguards and instructors
- Report any employee incidents to Director
- To ensure safe and effect programs, rules and regulations will be enforced in a consistent manner
- Ensure the facility is properly secured at closing time
- Complete all necessary forms for documentation of shift detail
- Participate and assist in the conduction of staff meetings and training
- Addresses issues and concerns that occur while on duty
- Responsible for documenting and reporting issues and concerns to the Aquatics Program Director
- Comply with the rules and procedures as defined in the employee handbook
- Manage the "on-call" phone for emergencies during the allocated hours of week
