Position Summary
The Pool Field Supervisor oversees daily field operations for pool construction, maintenance, and service teams. This role ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the company quality standards. The Pool Field Supervisor serves as the primary liaison between field crews, management, and customers while maintaining a strong focus on safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Field Operations & Supervision
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of pool technicians, installers, and subcontractors
Schedule and assign work orders, service calls, and project tasks
Monitor job progress to ensure timelines and quality standards are met
Conduct on-site inspections of construction and service work
Troubleshoot field issues and provide technical guidance
Quality Control & Safety
Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance
Conduct regular safety meetings and field audits
Ensure proper installation, plumbing, electrical bonding, and equipment setup
Maintain high workmanship standards across all projects
Team Leadership
Train, mentor, and evaluate field employees
Assist with onboarding of new technicians
Provide performance feedback and corrective action when necessary
Promote teamwork and accountability
Customer Relations
Serve as point of contact for customers during project execution
Address and resolve field-related concerns professionally
Ensure customer expectations are clearly communicated to crews
Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate job documentation, reports, and time tracking
Assist with inventory control and equipment management
Coordinate material deliveries and equipment needs
Support budgeting and cost control efforts
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
3–5+ years of experience in pool construction, service, or maintenance
Prior supervisory or crew lead experience preferred
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of pool systems (pumps, filters, heaters, automation, plumbing)
Ability to read plans and schematics
Basic computer proficiency (email, scheduling software, mobile apps)
Certifications (Preferred):
Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
OSHA 10/30
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Physical Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Lift and carry up to 75 lbs
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and walking- Ability to operate hand and power tools
Compensation
Salary: $75,000 per year
