Polishing & Production Technician

Manufacturing, polishing, machining, production, or finishing experience is a plus, but we're interested in motivated candidates who are willing to learn. Once you become proficient and consistent in all Class C tasks , you will be eligible for a $1.00-per-hour pay increase and promotion to Class B .

Position Summary
Produce quality components while maintaining a safe, clean and efficient work environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Operate automatic polishing machines and monitor equipment during production.
• Use buffing wheels, hand tools, and basic polishing equipment to finish components.
• Operate and monitor the air filtration system.
• Perform hand lapping of components as needed.
• Use a profilometer and other measurement equipment to verify surface finish.
• Perform simple rework to meet quality requirements.
• Assist with snow and ice mitigation when needed.
• Meet established productivity, utilization, scrap and rework goals.

Grow Your Skills

Once you become proficient and consistent in all Class C tasks, you will be eligible for a $1.00-per-hour pay increase and promotion to Class B.
