As the Policy & Legal Analyst with BCBSWY, you will support legislative tracking, government affairs, policy analysis, and legal operations. This position researches and analyzes legislative, regulatory, legal, and public policy matters; monitors state and federal developments affecting the organization; and prepares reports, summaries, correspondence, presentations, and other materials to support decision-making. The role also assists with legal research, contract and policy drafting, document management, regulatory responses, and special projects within the Legal Department. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and critical thinker with knowledge of government processes, legislative affairs, and legal concepts.
Qualified candidates must have an associate degree, five years of progressive legal experience, and five years of progressive government experience. Legislative experience is preferred, and healthcare or health insurance experience is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to healthcare policy and legal initiatives that impact communities across Wyoming.

Our compensation program is reviewed for competitive market match on an annual basis and employees are eligible for annual merit increases. Monthly incentives that are based on individual and company performance are also available to eligible employees and members of our Sales Team can realize generous performance-based commissions.

Our positions are all based in Wyoming.
