    Description

    PorchLight is looking for an individual who can successfully navigate multiple projects of various sizes simultaneously while scaling a quickly growing company. The ideal candidate must have a love of rural communities, have an eye for data and detail, and the ability to write documents that support their growth. 


    Job Summary


    This role is responsible for all community research projects and policy communication conducted through PorchLight. As a strong project manager, this person will lead community projects through data collection, input sessions,  collaborate with the CEO, and scale community relationships.


    Duties/Responsibilities


    • Estimate time and cost for all community projects through a project tracking system

    • Conduct all data research for each project 

    • Collaborate with other research contributors to ensure content is cohesive  

    • Responsible for interpreting data  and writing reports

    • Produce bi-weekly updates to clients to create clear communication channels

    • Write Bi-monthly/quarterly policy newsletter featuring community work

    • Support facilitation in community engagement interviews/small group settings

    • Collaborate and provide input on the PorchLight Certification 

    • Report to CEO on all projects


    Education or Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree 

    • Proven experience in  research and writing


    Work Environment

    • 10% travel annually

    • Hybrid work environment




    Requirements

    Requirements

    • Must have a direct connection to a rural community

    • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

    • Familiarity with Zoom, Google Suite products, among other data software programs
