Policy Analyst :: Falls Church, VA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:

• Support program and project management activities, including action-item tracking and milestone monitoring.
• Assist with strategic planning, implementation roadmaps, and leadership briefings.
• Research, draft, review, and maintain policies, procedures, and related materials.
• Engage clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and document decisions.
• Develop executive summaries, briefing materials, and other stakeholder-facing products.
• Support training and knowledge-transfer activities by developing presentations and job aids.
• Document current- and future-state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare accurate and professional deliverables while managing multiple priorities.
• Support continuous improvement and change management activities.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, public administration, business, healthcare administration, communications, management, or a related field.
• Professional experience in policy analysis, program or project support, or a related area.
• Strong research, analytical writing, organization, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple assignments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting federal, healthcare, or other complex enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with process improvement, change management, or knowledge management.
• Experience developing training materials, executive briefings, or policy implementation products.
• Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it clearly.

• Executive summaries, briefing materials, and other stakeholder-facing products.
• PMO products (e.g., agendas, notes).
• Policy documents, SOPs, research.
• Training products and knowledge-transfer activities; presentations, process maps, and job aids.
