Job Purpose:Protects and serves residents, visitors, and employees on the Sycuan ReservationJob Duties and Responsibilities:(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)
Protects tribal property, residents, visitors, and employees by regulating and monitoring vehicular and pedestrian traffic entering controlled access points on the reservation and trust properties.- 40%Monitors police department's communications by receiving and responding to emergency and non-emergency calls from the public and other allied agencies, processing and evaluating information received, dispatching appropriate personnel, recording pertinent information from the department's two-way radio communications system, and accessing and entering sensitive data on local, state, and national databases.- 40%Provides service by conducting security checks at tribal government, commercial, and residential buildings, escorting money and persons as needed, and distributing written communication between tribal departments.- 20%
Job Specifications:Education and Experience:Essential:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.California driver's license in good standingCalifornia Penal Code 832 certification within 6 months of appointment21 years of age
Desirable:
Permit to carry a firearm in good standing
