Police Patrol Officer Opportunities with the Livingston Police Department

The City of Livingston is currently accepting applications for full time Police Patrol Officers with the Livingston Police Department. We are hiring for both entry level and lateral transfer positions.
n

The Livingston Police Department offers a wide range of professional development opportunities including K9, investigations, drug task force, and School Resource Officer assignments. Officers also participate in community engagement efforts throughout Livingston including school visits, safety programs, outreach events, and local community activities.

Current starting pay for new patrol officers is $29.07 per hour. Lateral transfer wages range from $29.94 to $34.92 per hour depending on qualifications and years of service. Additional compensation opportunities are available through certifications, specialized assignments, and training.
n
Full time positions include a comprehensive benefits package with paid training, state retirement, vacation and sick leave accrual, holiday pay, paid parental leave, and a monthly insurance stipend covering medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options.
