    The Town Of Red Springs Is Seeking A Forward-thinking, Community-oriented, And Experienced Law Enforcement Professional To Serve As Its Next Chief Of Police. This Full-time, Exempt Position Reports Directly To The Town Manager And Oversees A Department Of 16 Sworn Officers And 1 Civilian Staff Member. The Ideal Candidate Will Be A Strategic Leader With A Strong Background In Modern Policing, Personnel Management, And Community Engagement. Red Springs Is A Diverse And Tight-knit Community Of Approximately 3,200 Residents. The Community Has 3 Public Schools, 1 Private School, And Over 250 Businesses.

    • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Or Related Field (master's Preferred)
    • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Progressively Responsible Law Enforcement Experience, Including Supervisory/command Roles
    • Nc Criminal Justice Certification & Valid Nc Driver's License
    • Residency Within 30-minute Response Time Required
