Essential Job Functions:
- Maintains knowledge of all Rivers SCHE Poker Room games, promotions, tournaments, and programs
- Adds player names to the Poker Room wait list
- Escorts players to their seats; retains knowledge of player preferences in order to provide superior guest service
- Answers all incoming telephone calls to the Poker Room
- Acts as Chip Runner
- Assists with poker tournaments as needed
- Periodically audits and replenishes Poker table bank inventory as directed by the Shift Manager
- Complies with all departmental and company policies and procedures
- Maintains cleanliness of the Poker Room
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of customer service experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be computer literate; knowledge of Google Docs preferred
- Must have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work assigned shifts including those on weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses
Working Conditions:
- Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use of hand to finger dexterity, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms; stand and/or walk for prolonged period of time
- Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel
- Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor
- Possible exposure to high noise level for extended periods of time
