We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Podiatry team at MedStar Harbor Hospital and MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with access to advanced resources, continued education, and professional growth opportunities throughout the MedStar Health network.

 

This position provides comprehensive foot and ankle care, including wound care, across outpatient and inpatient settings. The role is primarily outpatient, with dedicated clinic time and the opportunity to independently manage a patient schedule while collaborating closely with MedStar Health’s podiatric surgeons. The APP will also evaluate and manage hospitalized podiatry patients at both locations.

 

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

Preferred Experience: At least two years of experience in Podiatric Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery (foot and ankle preferred), or Wound Care.

 

Job Requirements

• Completion and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current or eligibility for Maryland licensure
• Current CPR certification
• Podiatry, orthopedic surgery, foot and ankle, surgical, or wound care experience preferred
• Experience caring for patients with complex or chronic wounds preferred

This position has a hiring range of : USD $115,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.
