Technical Project Manager with PMP certification
Location: San Diego, CA./3 days a week in office.
Position Summary: We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead complex, multi-stream enterprise technology programs. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven program management and delivery leadership.
The candidate should be an Engineering graduate, preferably with early-career experience as a software developer/engineer, followed by progressive experience in technical project or program management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-stream enterprise technology programs.
- Manage multiple workstreams, cross-functional teams, dependencies, risks, budgets, and timelines.
- Partner closely with engineering, product, architecture, infrastructure, and business teams.
- Translate business objectives into clear technical delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
- Drive program governance, status reporting, risk/issue management, and executive communications.
- Identify and resolve technical and delivery challenges to ensure predictable execution.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and drive alignment across technical and business teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- PMP certification is required.
- Proven experience in technicalproject/program management within an enterprise environment.
- Strong experience managing multi-stream, complex technology deliveries.
- Strong understanding of software development and technology delivery processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with both technicalteams and senior business executives.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a software developer/software engineer early in career.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing cloud, application modernization, data, infrastructure, or other enterprise technology initiatives.
- Experience working with distributed teams and third-party technology partners.
