Description
We are seeking a PMO Project Management Professional with 3–5 years of experience supporting PMO activities for large-scale software development projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project coordination, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Responsibilities
Coordinate PMO activities across multiple internal teams and client stakeholders.
Maintain and regularly update RAID logs covering risks, issues, actions, and decisions.
Track action owners, due dates, mitigation plans, dependencies, and overall status.
Proactively manage risks and issues, including timely escalation of critical blockers.
Track action items through resolution and closure.
Document key project decisions, dependencies, and commitments.
Prepare and provide input for weekly and monthly project status reports.
Support project status meetings and RAID reviews, including scheduling, invitations, meeting minutes, and facilitation.
Ensure stakeholders provide timely project updates and maintain accountability for assigned actions.
Assess risk probability and impact and support development of mitigation plans.
Monitor issue resolution plans and project dependencies.
Escalate potential delays, risks, and blockers early to appropriate stakeholders.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in PMO or software development project management support roles.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
PMP certification required/preferred.
Experience supporting large-scale software development projects preferred.
Strong understanding of project management fundamentals and PMBOK principles.
Knowledge of risk management and mitigation planning.
Strong data tracking, reporting, and documentation skills.
Excellent attention to detail and strong follow-through.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to drive stakeholders for timely updates and accountability.
Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
