THRYVE of Burbank is seeking an experienced and dedicated PM Shift Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing operations and ensure quality resident care during the evening shift. The ideal candidate will provide clinical leadership, support nursing staff, and ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and oversee resident care during the PM shift.
- Ensure nursing care is delivered in accordance with care plans, physician orders, and facility policies.
- Monitor residents' conditions and ensure changes are promptly reported and addressed.
- Provide guidance and support to nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Assist with staffing needs and ensure appropriate shift coverage.
- Respond to emergencies and clinical concerns, taking appropriate action as needed.
- Communicate with physicians, residents' families, and facility leadership regarding resident care.
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Monitor compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Support admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
- Ensure a smooth transition of care between shifts.
Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
- Previous nursing supervisory experience preferred.
- Skilled nursing facility experience required.
- Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
