Holiday Inn Schaumburg is looking for a reliable and energetic Line Cook to join our team! If you enjoy creating quality meals, working in a fast-paced kitchen, and delivering great guest experiences, we'd love to meet you.
As a Line Cook, you'll prepare and cook menu items to restaurant standards, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and help ensure every guest enjoys a great dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other menu items.
- Operate kitchen equipment including grills, ovens, fryers, and broilers.
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Set up, stock, and maintain designated cooking stations.
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen organization.
- Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Follow all safety and security procedures.
