This full-time, hourly position offers the opportunity to work independently while delivering, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining medical equipment for hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout the region. As a Lead Driver Supervisor, you will provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to drivers on your shift, serve as a key point of contact for the team, and help ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees during your shift in the absence of the Operations Manager.
• Supervise, lead, and support drivers throughout the shift to ensure daily assignments and operational priorities are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Assign and coordinate daily driver routes, deliveries, pickups, and other tasks based on business needs.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to drivers to support performance, customer service, safety, and overall team development.
• Complete Med One deliveries, pickups, and documentation thoroughly and without delay.
• Install and repair mattresses and beds, on-site at hospitals and medical facilities.
• Assist hospitals on-site with setup, troubleshooting, and diagnosis for medical equipment.
• Interact with Med One customers professionally to enhance the company's credibility.
• Assist in receiving, shipping, cleaning, and processing of medical equipment inventory.
• Assist the Operations Manager with receiving and unpacking materials and supplies, assembling orders and preparing goods for shipment, recording shipment data (including weight and charges), and loading and unloading equipment.
• Assist with resolving employee and operational issues and escalate concerns to the Operations Manager or appropriate member of management when needed.
• Help onboard and train new drivers on company procedures, equipment handling, delivery expectations, and safety requirements.
• Perform cosmetic repairs, including repairing case damage, sanding, and repainting.
• Ensure company vehicles are properly maintained according to the manufacturer's specifications.
• Assist in light equipment maintenance and cleaning.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma required; some college or technical school experience preferred
• Must be 21 years of age
• Previous supervisory, leadership, or Lead Driver experience preferred
• Previous leadership or Lead Driver experience preferred
• 1-2 years of previous delivery driver experience
• Prior Box Truck driving experience required
• Proficient in computer operation and usage
• Strong work ethic
• Valid, active driver's license
• Clean motor vehicle record
• Ability to load and unload heavy items up to 75 lbs.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent customer service skills
• Familiarity with local and surrounding areas, with the ability to read maps and follow directions
• Ability to clearly read and write in English
• Ability to effectively supervise, coach, and support team members while maintaining a professional, positive, and accountable work environment
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide guidance and support to team members while maintaining a professional and positive work environment
• Overtime and on-call scheduling may be required based on business needs
