    Description

    HiFyve is hiring a PM Foreman in the Manufacturing industry!

    Salary: $37-$40/hr (based on experience)

    Shift: 6:00 AM-3:00 PM

    Location: Tempe, AZ

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Lead, coach, and support a team of maintenance technicians with a primary focus on preventive maintenance execution.
    • Remain hands-on in the field while providing technical guidance and support to maintenance technicians.
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
    • Serve as a key point of contact for the maintenance team and help coordinate daily PM activities and priorities.
    • Assign daily preventive maintenance tasks and provide technical direction to maintenance technicians.
    • Monitor PM schedules, completion, and equipment status to ensure preventive maintenance activities are completed accurately and on time.
    • Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend improvements to preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
    • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and refrigeration systems as needed.
    • Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase motors, contactors, relays, VFDs, PLCs, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment.
    • Perform industrial pneumatic diagnostics and repairs involving valves, fittings, and related systems.
    • Support pump maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives.
    • Assist with developing and improving PM procedures, inspection routes, and maintenance tasks.
    • Review equipment history and maintenance data within the CMMS to identify trends and opportunities for improved reliability.
    • Ensure preventive maintenance work orders are documented accurately and completely within the CMMS system.
    • Coach and mentor maintenance technicians while promoting a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide guidance to technicians on proper maintenance procedures, troubleshooting methods, and safe work practices.
    • Participate in safety efforts, incident reporting, risk mitigation, and technician safety initiatives.
    • Ensure maintenance activities meet food safety, quality, GMP, and regulatory standards.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

    Education Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
    • At least 1 year of experience in a lead, supervisor, management, or maintenance leadership role.
    • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and industrial maintenance systems.
    • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
    • Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, motors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and pneumatic systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical prints, schematics, and diagrams.
    • Experience using a CMMS or EAM system.
    • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
    • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach and guide a team while performing technical work.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple PM activities.
    • Ability to analyze equipment history and maintenance information to improve reliability.
    • Ability to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment and support maintenance needs as required.

    Preferred:

    • Food and beverage or dairy manufacturing experience.
    • Experience with industrial refrigeration, boilers, HVAC/R, or utility systems.
    • Experience with pump maintenance and reliability programs.
    • Knowledge of lubrication principles and bearing applications.
    • Experience developing or improving preventive maintenance programs.
    • Experience operating forklifts and various lifts.

    Work Environment & Requirements

    • Hands-on position working primarily on the production floor.
    • Ability to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to occasionally bend, crouch, stoop, twist, reach, grasp, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds.
    • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and coordinating preventive maintenance activities around production needs.
