Job Description:

PGOTraining and Workforce Program Manager: The PGO (Power Grid Operations) Training and Workforce Program Manager establishes the strategic direction for Lighting initiative for PGO. The Program Manager defines the training for the Lighting programs to achieve PGO s workforce strategies and operational objectives. The Program Manager supports multiple customer groups within PGO and may engage with all level of leaders within the PGO organization. This position is the project manager for various lighting initiatives. Provides strategic input for current and future lighting program development. Effectively plans, schedules, coordinates, and monitors the activities of lighting programs and negotiates resources as needed. Ensures that lighting programs are completed on time, within budget and in accordance with business needs and objectives. Monitors status and progress of lighting projects and makes necessary adjustments to plans and schedules. Makes recommendations and presentations to management and supports the communication and implementation of project deliverables.

Responsibilities:
The Program Manager performs the following functions:

Serves as subject matter expert and manager for PGO lighting training programs (initial, continuing, & emergent)
Manages program costs and estimates impacts of changes
Engages business unit leaders to establish strategies and incorporate priorities into the applicable programs
Leads the ADDIE process to implement lighting training initiatives
Engages SME s and Leaders to establish strategic direction and lighting training initiatives
Remains abreast of business developments and industry trends that affect lighting initiatives, determines impacts to skills and abilities
Creates innovative solutions to reconcile lighting training discrepancies
Identifies strategic cost improvement opportunities
Communicates to all levels of the organization, verbally and written
Inform and directs stakeholders regarding lighting activities

Required/Basic Qualifications
Bachelor s degree or technical degree AND six (6) years minimum required related work experience
In lieu of Technical degree(s) AND 6 years related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND 10 years related work experience

Desired Qualifications
Master s degree
In addition to desired degree, 10 years related work experience

Prior Training, Delivery, Development, and/or project management experience

Working Conditions
Hybrid Mobility Classification Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable daily commute to a **** facility.
Office environment, meetings in conference rooms and/or through conference calls
Frequent travel to multiple locations in six states
3 days in office per week, must live within commutable distance from work location
The selected candidate will sit at both the Toddville Operations Center, NC and the **** Plaza, NC
