Plumbing Design Technician

Required: 10 years, reduces to 5 years with an Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, of practical application experience of plumbing design, including waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water related to building systems. Job Responsibilities: Produce plumbing (domestic hot and cold water, waste and vent and storm water) designs for construction by modeling in Revit.

Required:

• 10 years, reduces to 5 years with an Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, of practical application experience of plumbing design, including waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water related to building systems
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams, with the client, and construction team
• Proficient working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software
• General working knowledge of plumbing codes
• An understanding of clash detection, clash resolution and building system coordination
• Passion for buildings and construction

Preferred:

• Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base

Job Responsibilities:

• Produce plumbing (domestic hot and cold water, waste and vent and storm water) designs for construction by modeling in Revit.
• Coordinate plumbing designs with other disciplines
• Review and respond to RFI's and shop drawings

Pay Range: $38/hr. - $43/hr.
