Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Plumbing Design Manager to join an engineering company in Conshohocken, PA. This is a 6-month contract to start with the potential for extensions.

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Description

Manage and provide overall supervision of a team of approximately 8 Plumbing Designers and Engineers.

Perform plumbing design assignments for large pharmaceutical projects.

Provide technical reviews of plumbing teams work and deliverables.

Lead the team through department initiatives and workflows that include standardization and innovation.

Qualifications

Technical or Associate Degree from an accredited technical institution or college in plumbing/mechanical preferred; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.

At least 15 years of experience in a MEP Design Environment.

Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) preferred.

Knowledge of all aspects of plumbing systems.

Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD or other plumbing design software.

A demonstrated ability to solve problems, communicate effectively to all key personnel, manage time efficiently, and produce correct designs within budgeted time.
