About the role
You will own the growth of our plumbing department: run calls, train the team, and build the systems that let the department scale. This is a working leadership role, split between the field and the office.
We are an established residential HVAC company in the Marietta, GA area with a plumbing department that is ready to grow. We want someone who treats the department like their own business and wants a bigger seat at the table as it grows.
What you'll do
Drive the department
- Own plumbing revenue, average ticket, conversion and callback numbers, and report on them weekly
- Set daily and weekly goals for the team and hold people to them
- Find new revenue: water heaters, repipes, filtration, drain and sewer, and plumbing add-ons on HVAC calls
- Build and maintain pricing, service offerings and standard processes
Train and cross-train
- Train plumbers on technical skills, customer communication and presenting options in the home
- Cross-train HVAC technicians and comfort advisors to spot and handle basic plumbing opportunities
- Ride along regularly, coach in the field and follow up on what you see
- Run recurring hands-on training sessions and keep written training material current

- A teacher. You enjoy making other people better and have the patience to do it.
- Comfortable in both worlds. You are as capable behind a laptop as you are under a house.
- Ambitious. You want a larger leadership role and are willing to earn it through results.
