Looking to start or grow your career in the plumbing trade?
Travis Electrical Service is looking for a dependable, motivated Plumbing Apprentice who wants to learn the trade, develop real-world skills, and build a long-term career with a growing service company.
As a Plumbing Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced plumbers and technicians on residential and commercial service calls while learning plumbing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair.
What You'll Do
Assist experienced plumbers and service technicians on plumbing service calls
Help install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems and equipment
Learn to inspect and test plumbing components
Assist with planned maintenance and installations
Learn how to communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent service
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
Help keep service vehicles stocked and organized
Properly use and care for company tools and equipment
Follow company safety procedures and plumbing industry standards
Participate in training, meetings, and workshops to continue developing your skills
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is hungry, humble, smart, and ready to learn.
High school diploma or GED
A minimum of one year of plumbing experience is required
Dependable and ready to work
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Good communication and customer service skills
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Basic familiarity with hand and power tools
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed
Ability to meet the physical demands of plumbing work, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces
Must be able to comply with company drug-testing requirements
