Position Overview:
As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of a licensed plumber to develop the skills necessary for a career in the plumbing trade. The role involves learning to install, maintain, and repair residential plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems. The apprentice gains hands-on experience while adhering to safety standards and local building codes.

What Does It Take?
Physical Requirements: This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, climbing, and working in confined or restricted spaces such as crawlspaces, basements, and under sinks. Employees must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and assist with lifting, moving, and positioning heavier plumbing equipment, fixtures, tools, and materials. The role requires the use of hand and power tools, climbing ladders and stairs, and performing physically demanding work throughout the workday. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, wet or damp areas, dust, dirt, and other conditions commonly encountered in residential plumbing environments.
