Good techs are hard to find, and we treat ours that way. Mr. Rooter Plumbing serves homes and businesses across Lake, McHenry, and Cook Counties. Our phones stay busy, so you won't be sitting around waiting for work.
Pay: Commission only, $55,000–$95,000 per year. The more work you complete, the more you earn.
Schedule: Full-time, including some Saturdays, plus a shared on-call rotation.
What you'll do
- Clear drains and main lines, run cameras, and jet sewer lines
- Diagnose and repair plumbing problems (licensed techs)
- Explain the problem and the options to customers clearly and honestly
- Keep your truck stocked and your job notes accurate
What you need
- Either an Illinois plumbing license, or at least 1 year of professional drain cleaning or plumbing experience
- Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
- Customer-first attitude and good communication
- Able to lift heavy equipment
- Available for some Saturdays and your turn in the on-call rotation
