    Position Overview As a Plumbing Mechanic , you will install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems on commercial job sites. This role is ideal for an experienced tradesperson with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. A Journeyman Plumber License is preferred but not required.

    What You'll Do

    Professionalism and Work Ethic

    Maintain a positive, solutions-focused attitude on the jobsite

    Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and strong work habits

    Work a full scheduled shift and maintain productivity

    Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

    Technical Responsibilities

    Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems

    Ensure all work meets applicable codes and industry standards

    Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project instructions

    Coordinate work with other trades on multi-craft job sites

    Deliver clean, professional, high-quality workmanship

    Safety

    Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures

    Use required personal protective equipment at all times

    Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately

    Participate in safety meetings and promote safe work practices

    Problem Solving and Coordination

    Identify issues or discrepancies and communicate them promptly

    Assist in developing solutions to jobsite challenges

    Escalate complex issues to Lead Mechanics or Foremen when needed

    Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for daily tasks

    Help ensure materials are stored and used efficiently

    Communication and Teamwork

    Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and supervisors

    Follow directions accurately and seek clarification when needed

    Support a positive and collaborative jobsite culture

    Contribute to team success through cooperation and accountability

    What We're Looking For

    Several years of plumbing experience in commercial or industrial settings

    Journeyman Plumber License preferred but not required

    Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and installation practices

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

    Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented

    Strong communication and teamwork skills

    Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background checks

    Work Environment and Physical Requirements

    This is a hands-on role in a construction environment and may include:

    Frequent standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, and lifting

    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

    Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

    Travel to job sites, sometimes including extended drive time

    Exposure to construction materials, tools, and equipment
