What You'll Be Doing

• Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial and residential plumbing systems.
• Perform rough-ins, top-outs, trim-outs, fixture installations, and final punch-list work.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing layouts.
• Prepare plumbing installations for inspections and ensure compliance with applicable plumbing codes.
• Work on multifamily developments, apartment communities, commercial buildings, and other construction projects.
• Move between job sites or assist across our Commercial Service and New Construction divisions when needed.
• Communicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, and other team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Take initiative, identify potential problems, and help keep projects moving forward.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Previous hands-on plumbing experience in service, new construction, or both.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, fittings, fixtures, and installation methods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable attendance, professional attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow direction while also taking initiative.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and job-site safety.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to assigned job sites.

Highly Preferred

• Commercial plumbing or multifamily construction experience.
• Ability to work across multiple phases of plumbing construction.
• Experience identifying and correcting inspection deficiencies.
• Ability to read blueprints and work with minimal supervision.
• Experience leading small crews or mentoring apprentices.
• Familiarity with North Carolina plumbing codes and inspection requirements.
