Position OverviewPeople Source OKC is hiring experienced Plumber Apprentices / Helpers for a long-term career opportunity. We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of plumbing or related experience who are ready to work hard, learn, and continue developing their skills in the plumbing trade.This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience, takes direction well, is dependable, and wants to build a future in the industry while learning from experienced professionals.
Job Responsibilities- Assist with plumbing installations, repairs, and related projects
- Help install large equipment requiring accurate measurements and precision
- Use large wrenches, impact tools, and other hand and power tools
- Accurately read and use a tape measure
- Follow instructions and direction from experienced plumbers
- Assist with material handling and jobsite preparation
- Work safely in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Assist with equipment operation when qualified and needed
Requirements- Minimum 2 years of plumbing or related hands-on experience preferred
- Must have some previous plumbing experience
- Reliable personal transportation required
- Must be punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors during both summer and winter conditions
- Comfortable using large wrenches, impacts, and other tools
- Must be interested in developing a long-term career in the plumbing industry
Preferred Experience- Skid loader experience
- Backhoe experience
- Mini excavator experience
- SkyTrak or similar equipment experience
- Equipment operating experience is a plus but not required
Additional Information- Starting pay of $20.00+/hour based on experience
