PLM119 Plumbing - Apprentice

Springer Plumbing is looking for a Plumbing Apprentice to join our team!

The Plumbing Apprentice will assist our experienced plumbing technicians with installations, repairs, and maintenance while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the trade. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, develop their skills, and build a long-term career in the plumbing industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbing technicians with on-site tasks such as repairs, installations, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Perform basic plumbing duties under the supervision of experienced technicians.
• Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for daily jobs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on job sites.
• Work side-by-side with senior technicians to learn industry best practices and technical skills.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.

• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Desire to learn and grow within the plumbing trade.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay Transparency

The starting rate for this opportunity is $20.00 per hour, with opportunities for pay increases based on skill development, performance, and progression within the apprenticeship program.

Compensation is determined by factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market conditions.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
• May be required to bend, climb stairs and ladders, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and perform repetitive motions.
• May be required to drive and sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to maneuver up to 75 lbs. by lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling.
• May be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.
