JOB TITLE: PLM Applications Support Engineer
LOCATION: Foster City, CA (Hybrid; 4 days in office/week)
PAY RANGE: $75 - $85/hr.
DURATION: 6 Months

TOP 3 SKILLS:
  • 6+ years of related experience with 4+ years supporting Enovia applications, ERP integrations, SolidWorks, and CATIA V6 on the 3DExperience platform
  • Strong experience with 3DExperience (3DX), Enovia, Java, JSP, Windows Server Administration, and Linux environments
  • Hands-on experience with PLM deployments, upgrades, configuration, troubleshooting, database performance analysis, and system maintenance

Job Description:
This position is responsible for PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) development to handle deployments, installation, customization, configuration, and upgrades. This person should be able to perform configuration, customization, and support CAD and 3DExperience (3DX)/Enovia applications and assist customers with proper usage of 3DX PLM software.

Responsibilities:
  • Installation of 3DX services and apps in a Linux environment
  • Upgrade 3DExperience major versions and FixPacks
  • Automate database refreshes between multiple environments
  • Configure reverse proxies and load balancers
  • Analyze and improve 3DSpaceIndexing performance
  • Responsible for FCS configuration and filestore syncing
  • Utilize MS SQL knowledge to analyze slowness and database lock issues
  • Knowledgeable on DSLS
  • Develop new or enhanced methods and techniques to resolve problems
  • Develop software integrations between Enovia and existing database systems using Web Services, XML, and other related development tools
  • Develop Java Program Objects (JPOs) and Tcl/Tk scripts to implement triggers and clean up existing migrated database information
  • Develop and document test procedures and assist with unit, integration, and regression testing activities
  • Execute testing covering various use cases and scenarios with business unit processes
  • Work within cross-functional teams, contributing to project planning, recommending approaches, identifying resources, and developing timelines
  • Effectively communicate issues and alternative solutions
  • Take initiative to achieve value-added results and improve upon solutions offered
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and problems within the Enovia PLM system
  • Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and ongoing day-to-day system maintenance
  • Provide end-user support, training, and mentoring

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technology field
  • Working knowledge of 3DExperience and CAD systems such as CATIA V6
  • 6+ years of related experience
  • 4+ years of experience with Enovia applications, integrations of ERP, SolidWorks, and CATIA V6 to the 3DExperience platform
  • Experience with Java, JSP, and Windows Server Administration
