    Description

    Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a PLC Engineer role in Biddeford, ME. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products.     Key Responsibilities:

    · Design, develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems to support manufacturing operations.
    · Maintain and optimize automated control systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime and efficiency.
    · Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and related automation equipment.
    · Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and new automation solutions.
    · Perform system upgrades, modifications, and integrations for existing control systems.
    · Develop and maintain documentation including schematics, programming logic, and system configurations.
    · Ensure all control systems comply with safety standards and company policies.
    · Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and automation systems.
    · Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production personnel.
    · Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.

     

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    · Proven experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms).
    · Experience with HMI/SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols.
    · Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in an industrial environment.
    · Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
    · Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
    · Flexibility to support off-shift or on-call needs as required.
    · Knowledge of safety standards and industrial best practices is preferred.

     

    What We Offer:

    · Competitive salary. $90,000-$105,000 DOE.
