    Let’s Talk About the Work

    Based in the Louisville, KY area, this permanent full-time role centers on keeping PLC-driven industrial equipment online. You’ll zero in on electrical reliability—locating faults fast, repairing the issue, and partnering with production to prevent recurrences.

    What will I do?

    • Own electrical troubleshooting on automated machinery with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or comparable).
    • Pinpoint failures in ladder logic, I/O cards, sensors, and field wiring using RSLogix/Studio 5000, TIA Portal, and test equipment like a multimeter.
    • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic to plan and execute effective repairs and updates.
    • Complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks with a sharp focus on electrical system health.
    • Conduct daily rounds to identify issues early and respond quickly to unplanned downtime.
    • Handle mechanical fixes when needed; electrical performance remains your primary mission.
    • Coordinate with production to restore operation rapidly and communicate findings.

    What do I need to bring?

    • 3–5+ years of experience as a maintenance electrician in an industrial maintenance setting.
    • Working knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and industrial networking tools/standards.
    • Ability to read and apply schematics/prints and support basic pneumatics and hydraulics.
    • Proficiency troubleshooting PLC systems with AB/Siemens platforms using RSLogix/Studio 5000 or TIA Portal.
