PLC and .NET Automation Engineer

Location: Onsite - Johnston, IA


Role & Responsibilities
Work on next-generation R&D automation projects involving PLCs, industrial hardware, machine vision systems, sensors, conveyors, actuators, and robotics. This role will focus on designing and developing industrial automation solutions while integrating PLC controls with Epson robotic systems.



Top Technical Skills:
5+ years of C# .NET Development for Industrial Automation
5+ years of PLC Programming using Structured Text (IEC 61131-3)
Experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT PLC Platforms
Industrial Protocols: MQTT, MODBUS (RTU/TCP), EtherCAT
Desktop and Embedded Application Development



Nice to Have:
3+ years of Epson Robotics (RC+)
Python, C++, or C Programming Experience
Industrial Hardware Integration (Cameras, Sensors, Conveyors, Actuators)
Robotic Pick-and-Place Automation Workflows

Strong Troubleshooting and Debugging Skills
Self-Motivated and Hands-On Engineer
Ability to Work Cross-Functionally with R&D Teams
