This position is strictly for the County Club Plaza. It is an overnight position, with hours from 7 pm to 7 am. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OVERNIGHTS. This position pays a $1 per hour shift differential. You are also required to provide your own firearm. We provide uniforms, body armor, and some of the duty gear.
The position will provide on-site security to the County Club Plaza. Officers will patrol on foot and in vehicles, responding to calls for service and remaining visible as a deterrent to crime.
Officers will be required to walk up to 10 miles a day, and you may also have to climb ladders and access rooftops.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Operate and monitor security surveillance systems to ensure the safety of all personnel and property.
- Control access to buildings by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies and take appropriate action in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to report and investigate incidents.
- Prepare detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, security incidents, and irregularities.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter potential threats and promote a safe environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Security Officer.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to operate surveillance and security equipment effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
- Capable of remaining calm and making quick decisions in emergency situations.
- Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties and respond to incidents as needed.
- Valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations.
- MUST provide your own handgun (9mm, 40cal or 45cal)
- MUST provide a duty holster (Level II or III) and gear (belt, handcuffs, flashlight, etc.)
