Position Title: Playwright QA Automation Lead/SME
Location: San Jose, CA (Remote)
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:

• QA Automation Lead Engineer (SDET Python) role focused on building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks with strong Python and Pytest framework.
• Requires hands-on experience in UI automation with Playwright, Standalone API testing, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong QA background with exposure to test strategies and QA processes
• Expert level hands-on skills in QA Automation using Playwright
• Lead talent with experience defining strategy & framework for automation of manual test cases
• Experience in AI testing and hands on usage of AI MCPs. Good if they have MCPs
• Involves defining test strategy, executing regression/system/sanity testing, and performing release and production validation.
• Ideal candidate should understand QA methodologies, Agile practices, test data management, and collaborate effectively with Product, Dev, and DevOps teams.
• Good communication skills
• Experience collaborating with customers and geographically distributed teams (US/Canada/India) in driving QA automation initiatives
