About the Role


We're seeking a creative and compassionate Play Therapist who enjoys working with children ages 3–12. The ideal clinician uses play therapy and developmentally appropriate approaches to help children navigate emotional, behavioral, relational, and trauma-related concerns.


You'll collaborate with children, parents, families, schools, and other providers while providing high-quality, child-centered care. Fully licensed and qualified pre-licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply.



Licensure

• LPC or LPC Associate
• LCSW or LMSW
• LMFT or LMFT Associate
• Pre-licensed clinicians should have 2+ years of relevant experience and be actively pursuing full licensure

What You'll Do

• Complete DSM-5 diagnostic assessments and treatment plans
• Provide child-centered, developmentally appropriate therapy
• Use play therapy and creative interventions to address emotional and behavioral needs
• Maintain a caseload of 27+ sessions/week for full-time clinicians
• Collaborate with families, schools, medical providers, and care team members
• Complete timely and accurate documentation
• Participate in clinical meetings, consultation, supervision, and training
• Participate in marketing and referral development
• Use EHR and office technology effectively
• Offer flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, or weekends, based on community needs

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related behavioral health field
• Active Texas licensure or associate-level licensure
• 1–2 years of experience providing therapy to children ages 3–12
• Strong knowledge of play therapy and developmentally appropriate interventions
• Experience with assessment, treatment planning, and documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Successful completion of a background check

Preferred training: Certified Play Therapist (CPT), CCPT, Filial Therapy, PCIT, or Music, Art, or Expressive Arts Therapy.
