Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team, focusing on OpenShift Virtualization (OSV). This role involves engineering, deployment, and operational administration of global enterprise solutions to meet virtualization server hosting requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in virtualization technologies, automation, and infrastructure management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Powershell)
- Experience with Kubernetes and virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, Client)
- Understanding of cloud architecture and IT solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Ansible, GCP, and Dynatrace
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
- Familiarity with information security and access controls
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and support the installation and administration of virtualization suites
- Conduct capacity planning and forecasting for platforms
- Develop automation solutions for repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency
- Implement observability solutions and perform deep dive root cause analysis
- Provide technical consulting and expertise to application teams
