IDR is seeking a Platform Engineer II - AI Enablement to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis or remote.
This role involves supporting the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions within a large enterprise environment, focusing on AI infrastructure or AI application development. The position offers the chance to work on impactful projects using advanced AI tools and cloud-native technologies, contributing to scalable and secure AI platforms.
Position Overview for the Platform Engineer II - AI Enablement:
- Support the development and maintenance of AI infrastructure or AI-powered applications, including backend systems, API integrations, and user experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable AI solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Develop APIs, automation scripts, and data pipelines for AI platform scalability and data integration.
- Assist with security, governance, logging, and monitoring to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Apply DevOps practices to deploy AI applications using containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements for the Platform Engineer II - AI Enablement:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 57+ years of experience in software development, infrastructure engineering, or cloud engineering, with a focus on AI infrastructure or application development.
- Experience building backend applications and APIs (REST/GraphQL/gRPC) or developing user-facing AI applications.
- Familiarity with GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, etc.) or cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, TypeScript, etc.).
