  • Contribute to the development of custom software components and integration of open-source solutions to meet mission needs.
  • Apply software engineering best practices across build, deployment, and operations lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement secure, automated, and repeatable pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins).
  • Troubleshoot complex systems issues across cloud, network, and platform layers.
  • Work within Agile development frameworks to support rapid iteration, feedback, and continuous delivery.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives that increase reliability, maintainability, and performance of mission systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience developing and deploying infrastructure in AWS
  • Proficient with Linux systems administration, networking, and shell scripting (Bash/Shell)
  • Experience with Kubernetes or related container orchestration technologies
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and reliability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
